I know, what your thinking… I’ll pass. That’s exactly what I thought.
Truth be told. I’m known for sneaking avocados into lots of things, especially chocolate cake. My husband and brother will never let me live that down. I made it for them once, and they said it was good… until I told them what was in it. Such babies I tell ya!

So about that smoothie! Lisa, from Thrive Style recommended I try adding an avocado to my green smoothies. She said it would make my smoothie creamy, and let me tell you she wasn’t kidding. It was silky smooth!
I honestly could taste the avocado a tad bit, so I added a packet of truvia and it was perfect. Smooth, slightly sweet & filling.
I should mention this smoothie packs in a whopping 10 grams of fiber!
- ½ avocado
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ cup strawberries, frozen
- ½ banana, frozen
- 1-2 handfuls of spinach
- 1 packet of truvia, or ½ Tbsn honey
- 1 Tbsn chia seeds
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
