I can’t believe Christmas is only 11 days away! Well, truth be told, I can believe it by the amount of cookies I’ve been eating!
Having a Christmas cookie party = Tons of leftover cookies.
Even after all my guest took home cookies, I was still left with a ton! I figured I would just freeze them so I wouldn’t have to bake again for Christmas day. Guess what? Cookies still taste good, straight from the freezer!
You know how an alcoholic is one drink away from relapsing and the same is true for a drug addict? The same principle applies to a sugar addict me.
I’m telling you guys sugar=crack!
I get the whole, “it’s the holidays, enjoy yourself” thing. The thing is, eating cookies for the whole month of December isn’t going to do me or my behind any good. My problem when it comes to sweets is that, once I try something I want MORE! Especially if it is loaded with sugar. It just spikes my sugar cravings.
In order for me to have any cookies left for Christmas, I was left with one option.
I wrapped the cookies in about 10 layers of foil.
Hope this works.
I’ve been trying to curb my sugar cravings with fruity smoothies. I just have to make them quick before my sugar craving hits hard.
Have I ever told you guys that raspberries are my favorite fruit? Their flavor is so unique and something I truly enjoy.
I thought that the raspberry almond combination I made the other day, was my favorite, but I have a new favorite now
At first glance this smoothie looks a lot like a chocolate smoothie, but it’s actually the opposite. It’s a fruity raspberry & mango combination. It was a coincident that I had one ripe mango sitting on my counter and half a pack of raspberries in the fridge. It was a match made in heaven I tell you.
