Egg Nog Green Smoothie : Day 2

smoothie 1

Sometimes I feel like I am the most  indecisive shopper ever. I don’t want to buy something I’m not 100% crazy about, especially if it’s something expensive, and I usually take a long time decided if it’d be worth it or not. On the other hand….. I can be a compulsive shopper. Pretty sure I just contradicted what I said, but it’s true. There are times when I find so many things and know I will love them without a doubt!

Do you all know where I’m heading with this? Let me explain.

Last week, I was at Whole Foods and about to pay for my groceries. Just as I was about to get in line, I saw something sparkle out of the corner of my eye. I stopped in my tracks and turned around to find a huge Christmas display of SO Delicious coconut nog and mint chocolate milk. I was in coconut milk heaven!

I grabbed one of each. They were 2 for $6 so I had no other choice, right? ;)

Later that night, I warmed some of the mint chocolate milk in the microwave. Just as I suspected, t’was delicious.

Now, I wanted in on the egg nog. Just how Lisa and I used to hate anything mint flavored, we also never really liked egg nog. I don’t remember when I first had it, but recently I discovered that I really like it! Who would’ve known!

I wanted to create a refreshing and healthy eggnog beverage, and obviously a green smoothie came to mind first. I kept playing with other ideas, but always came back to the green smoothie idea.

I’ve created a monster guys! I’ve made this twice so far and I can’t get enough! It taste like a thick egg nog shake. I realize I need to stop rambling, but Go.Make.This….NOW!
